Today I made a map around my house for cross country because we can't do it at school due to covid19. The thing that was the most difficult for me was to get the right distance in km. (kilometers) The thing that I enjoyed was when we found out what the distance was.

Ka mau te wehi Katelyn, this is a great start. I like that you have added a bridge to your map so we know the different landmarks. To make your map more like a real map you could measure each of the straight bits and then make it so they are all to scale (for example 1cm could be 200m).

Hi Miss Farr, Thank you for liking my map. When I finished the map I didn't know if I had to blog it or send it to you, then I double checked on the class site and it said to blog it. Do you like doing online teaching because I like doing online learning, but I would rather do real school so I can see my friends in real life.
