My onomatopoeia poem



Punch, smack, chomp, crunch
poof, woof, huff, munch
Huff, puff, roar, groan
sizzle, crinkle, tinkle, moan

I eat cookies
My cookie went
I miss my cookie

WALT: learn how to write an onomatopoeia poem.
Today we had to make an onomatopoeia poem. An onomatopoeia poem is words that you can hear and say. We had to write 16 words that are onomatopoeia. I found difficult was thinking of words that are onomatopoeia that rime.


Number of the week - Week 3 - Term 4



Every week Miss Farr chooses a number and we have to do all of these things with the number. I enjoyed this activity because I like to learn maths.

Summarising

WALT: summarise

What we did: Yesterday we made a google drawing and made a post called All about me. We had to write 8 things about us then we went around the room and put things about people on other posts. We did this because Miss Farr wanted us to summaries of who we are.

What was challenging: thinging of stuff about me and other people.

 WALT: A poem using Onomatopoeia

Up in the air
it's a bird that goes tweet
out of know where
it falls down to the ground
flop into the snow
the bird goes

Caption: Today in class we learnt how to use onomatopoeia. Onomatopoeia is when you use words that you can hear, like slam, buzz, woof. I enjoyed this activity because I learnt a way of how to write poems with onomatopoeia.

Reflection - Week One - Term 4

Kia ora everyone this is my reflection for week one.

What I have enjoyed this week: I have enjoyed doing athletics because long jump and high jump were soooooooo fun and because I qualified in both of them!!! I am so proud of myself. :) I have also enjoyed playing with my friends because we all made up the game and we try to make it funnier.

What I found difficult: I found maths challenging because it was different and harder than usual and we had ordered fractions. Here is a picture.


What I have learnt this week: I have learnt that some people think the earth is flat but it is not. What shape do you think the earth is. Write your answer down in the comments below. I will comment back and say what the shape of the earth.

What I want to work on next week: I want to work on space and learn how the milky way was created because I like the milky way chocolate.
