  1. Kia Ora Katelyn!

This post is amazing! Thank you so much for putting in so much effort! You have added so much detail about your family! I love it!

That is so nice that you and your family try to spend time together! It is important for me to spend time with my family too. Me and my family try to eat dinner together as much as we can. What are some ways you and your family spend time together?

That is really cool that your family can speak so many different languages! Do some of your family live in France, Australia, and Scotland? My brother was born in Scotland and I have family living in Australia :)

It is so incredible how much you have written for this post! Thank you so much for putting in the time! It makes it really fun to read!

    Matilda :)

(P.S I LOVE the Christmas colours! It must have taken you a long time to do!)

  2. Kia Ora to you to Matilda, Thanks sooooo much for liking my post. And your right it did take a long time doing the Christmas colours. That is really cool that your brother was born in Scotland. I have a brother too but he was born in New Zealand like the rest of my family that I live with. Do you know what age your brother left Scotland? Because he might know someone from my family. (That would be cool.) Dose your brother still live in Scotland? My family like to go on the boat, Go to Christchurch on the weekend.(Sometimes.)
We sometimes do baking together. Me and my family always eat dinner together, only if me or my brother are not on a sleepover or camp. Why can't your family sometimes not have dinner together?

  3. Hey Katelyn,

I really love how long you spent on the Christmas colours! It made me smile :)
Thanks for your questions! We moved to Scotland for a few years when I was a baby. My brother was born there but then we moved back to New Zealand when I was 4 (he would have been 2 years old!) It would have been really cool if my brother knew your brother, but I don't think he was old enough to remember anyone.

Spending time on the boat must be so fun! Trips to Christchurch also sounds like a lot of fun! I wish I could take trips like that!
I don't live my parents anymore. I have moved into my own house :) I try to go back home as much as I can though!
Thanks for your questions :) Keep the posts coming! They have been so good so far Matilda

  4. Hello Matilda
Thanks for liking all of my post so far.
I have a question about the Summer Learning Journey. Do I do three activity's each day because I went to go on the next one and it said day 2 and then three activity's?
My brother was not born in Scotland but one of my cousins could of been his friend.
Is your brother a younger brother because my brother is an older brother. Do you have a sister, if you don't have one do you wish you had a sister, I wish I had a younger sister, I don't have a sister.

  5. Hi,

Really good question! Every day has three activities! You don't have to do them all but each activity is worth points so the more activities you do, the more points you get! So try as many as you can!

There are four weeks in the Summer Learning Journey. Each of these weeks has five days. And each day has three activities.

I hope this all makes more sense now!

  6. Hey, again Matilda
Thanks for telling me what to do. So can I do today's activity tomorrow, is that what it means? It is my first time doing the Summer Learning Journey so I am still getting the hang of it. How many points do I get for each comment I do?

  7. Hey Katelyn

Yes! You can do the activities whenever you want! You don't have to do them on the day they are meant for. You get four points for each activity you do, but the bonus activities are worth six points! You can also get more points by commenting on other people's posts!

I hope this answers your questions!

  8. Hey Katelyn!

It’s Matilda again! I was so proud of the start you made to the Summer Learning Journey but I haven’t seen any posts from you in a while! It would be really cool to see you come back and do a few more activities! Remember you don’t have to do the activities in order! You can have a look through them all and decide which ones you like the look of!

I’m hoping to see some posts from you soon!

    Matilda :)

    1. Hi Matilda,
      It's me Katelyn.
I am really sorry I have not been doing the Summer Learning Journey.
I have not been doing the Summer Learning Journey sadly because my mum and dad brought a yucky house and we are doing it up to live in, and there is no WiFi there. I will try and do some more Summer Learning Journey's.
