Summer Learning Journey - activity 3 - day 2
At school, we had a talent show in 2019, and I went into the talent show. Guess what I did, (put down in the comments below of what you thought I did)
I did...
singing! It was REALLY fun and there were 2 heats and the winners. The first heat was the auditions, the second heat (if you made the auditions) was in front of the whole school, then the judge's will decide who won the hole then. Lot's of people won. (because of the ages) I sadly did not win but I went into the second heat. That means I SANG IN FRONT of the WHOLE SCHOOL! It was really cool.
Questions:
Have you ever been in a talent show?
Do you get scared in front of a big crowd?

Word of the week. (First word of the week of 2020!)
Hi, are you excited for 2020! This week the word Miss Farr choose was sovereignty. Miss Farr choose it because as you know (maybe) it was Waitangi day on Thursday, Miss Farr read the class and I a book about Waitangi day. In the book, it had the word sovereignty.

The Tree Hut Treaty
Today My teacher (Miss Farr) read the class and I a book called The Tree Hut Treaty.
Then she made this slide on the class site for us to fill in. She split us into groups to help each other with this activity, My group was emma (https://paroagreyemmabl.blogspot.com/) and
Kalani. (http://paroagreykalanin.blogspot.com/) I think we all worked well together as a group. After the whole class was finished this activity we all came down to the mat and we made a class treaty.

Summer Learning Journey - Week one - Activity 3
The charity I choose was the SPCA. The SPCA takes care of animals who are hurt, sick, abused or abandoned. The SPCA helps take care and protect 40,000 animals each year! (That is a crazy amount of animals.) The SPCA finds abandoned animals and take care of them and finds a new home for each and every one of them, but first, the SPCA has to fix up the animal and see if it is hurt or sick or has been abused. The SPCA does a wonderful job at helping the animals.

PS: I hope all of the animals all have an awesome home now.
Questions:
Do you like animals?
Do you have an animal?
Do you want an animal? (If you don't have one.)

Summer Learning Journey - Week one - Activity Two
Where my Family come from: New Zealand (The family I live with)
What is important or special to me and my family: My family and I love spending time together. (The family that I live with) Opening presents on Christmas day because when you give a present you get a present, it is really fun. (The family that I live with) We like going out on our boat if it is not raining. (The family that I live with) (It rain's a lot here in Greymouth.) Mostly every year my Grandma comes to stay with us for Christmas.
The language my family speak: My family that I live, with also me all, speak English. The other parts of my big, big, big, big, big, big, big, big, big, family who live in other countries speak other language's than my family that I live with, like
French,
Australian accent,
Scottish,
and many more that I do not know of.
