Quatrain Poems

In libraries there are books
You can get out or return
There are so many things to out-look
Bookworm is what you can turn

The butterfly
Fly through the sky
Its wings spread
Then the caterpillar will try

I like fries
They're much better than guys
Fries are nice and crispy
But guys are too talkie

Calendar art galore
Pencils and Pens
Paper and card
The summer begins

Kia Ora, Bonjour, Hello everyone! How is your day?
In class, we have recently been learning how to make different kinds of poems. This is a quatrain. The key thing to make it a quatrain is to have it rhyme in different kinds of patterns. It is usually four lines. My favourite poem is probably the library poem. I enjoyed this activity because it was really fun to make poems because I like the way it sounds when it rhymes. This was difficult because I could not think of words that rhyme.

Hope you enjoyed :)
